The Center for Construction Excellence Project at California State University, Fresno will be housed in
Industrial Technology 160 immediately adjacent to the North of the West Engineering Building at Barstow
and Jackson Avenues.  

The Project will be completed in 2 Phases.  Phase 1 began over the summer of 2006 with all of the site
work around the existing building.  The Landscaping will be completed by the end of October 2006.  Phase
2 will be the Remodel and Modernization of IT 160 over the Summer of 2007.  We are currently in the
Design Phase of the Remodel.  

All work to date has been donated by the industry for the education of the future and current members of
our industry. With the cooperation of the Industry and California State University Fresno, this project will
benefit our industry for many years
The Project
You Can Be Involved
Many of the major trade contractors have already committed to performing work on the project.  There are
